BA (Hons) Performance in Singing and Acting: Subject to Validation
£9,790 tuition fees per year, with access to student finance

£9,790 tuition fees per year, with access to student finance
Plus £2,000 per year in additional course fees
BA (Hons) Acting for Stage and Screen with Foundation Year:
Year 0 – Tuition fees are £9,790, with access to student finance
Year 1, 2 & 3 – £10,050 tuition fees per year, with access to student finance
Plus £2,000 per year in additional course fees
BA (Hons) Performance in Musical Theatre:
£9,790 tuition fees per year, with access to student finance
Plus £2,000 per year in additional course fees
BA (Hons) Performance in Musical Theatre with Foundation Year:
Year 0 – Tuition fees are £9,790, with access to student finance
Year 1, 2 & 3 – £10,050 tuition fees per year, with access to student finance
Plus £2,000 per year in additional course fees
BA (Hons) Performance (Level 6 Top-Up):
Tuition fees are £9,790, with access to a tuition fee loan
This course is designated as ‘Distance Learning’, maintenance loans are not available for this course unless a student is registered as disabled and applying for DSA.
If paying privately, a deposit of £500 is required upon acceptance to confirm a student’s place. This deposit will be returned on completion of the course.
COURSE FEES BREAKDOWN
The fees for studying the BA (Hons) programmes in partnership with De Montfort University are £9,790 per year. This covers all of the education and support needed to complete the De Montfort University programme.
In addition, PPA offers a range of vocational hours within our 3-year courses, to enhance your skills and career opportunities. These come with an additional £2,000 charge per year, payable privately to the college.
These additional vocational hours and the fee charged for these hours are not associated with DMU.
DMU contracts with the student for the tuition fee element only, and not any additional fees. PPA contracts with the student include any additional fees and accept full responsibility and liability for these funds.
STUDENT FINANCE
The BA (Hons) courses may, subject to eligibility, be funded through the Student Loan Company and maintenance loans and/or grants may be available.
Student funding (and course designation by DMU) is reviewed annually and may be subject to change.
TUITION FEE LOAN
- The maximum tuition fee loan available is £9,790
- Tuition Fee Loans are paid directly to your university
- The tuition fee loan is not means-tested, meaning your household income will not be taken into consideration
MAINTENANCE LOAN
Students may access up to £10,830 per year to help with living costs.
The amount you can receive is means-tested and will depend on:
- Your household income
- Where you live while studying
- When you start your course
- What year of study you are in
- Any additional support received through the maintenance grant system
Maintenance Loans are paid into your bank account.
