We are dedicated to individual development, and a team of passionate teachers deliver a rigorous and innovative training programme.

Reflection on professional practice is an empowering aspect of the student experience, and in the third year your research project allows you to choose a subject matter of personal interest.

In addition, you will have access to the PPA Agency, which has enviable industry links and may promote graduates into the world of Musical Theatre with access to agents, casting directors and potential employers. SINGING

This module develops you as a confident, versatile singing actor, combining strong vocal technique with storytelling and performance. Working with singing repertoire— both classic and contemporary, musical theatre, pop, folk and other employable genres — you’ll build healthy, reliable singing skills while learning how to use your voice to create character and communicate emotion.

Through practical classes, group work and one to one sessions, you’ll explore solo, duet and ensemble material, sharpening your musical accuracy, vocal control and expressive range. You’ll be challenged to sing with imagination, spontaneity and responsiveness, delivering performances that are technically secure, stylistically accurate and dramatically believable.

ACTING

This module introduces you to a range of acting techniques and approaches, both traditional and contemporary, helping you build a personal acting process that works for you. Through practical exploration, you’ll develop the skills to work confidently as an individual and as part of an ensemble.

You’ll discover what makes you unique as a performer, learning how your individuality shapes character, choices and professional practice. By building a shared language of acting and exploring different methodologies, this module lays the foundation for truthful, flexible and engaging performance.
