For the first audition, students should prepare 2 contrasting monologues of their own choice.

  • One classical
  • One modern post 1880

(Please do not choose a piece by Berkoff, John Godber, Willy Russell or Jim Cartwright).

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR
AUDITION

  • Comfortable attire; please wear clothes that you are free to move in.
  • A copy of the two monologues.

SCHEDULE OF THE AUDITION DAY

Part 1

Candidates will be given individual slots to perform their monologues to the audition panel, followed by a short interview.

Part 2

Candidates will all take part in a workshop with members of the acting faculty, after which there will be a Q and A session.
