WHAT TO PREPARE FOR YOUR
AUDITION

For the audition, candidates should learn two (contrasting) monologues: selected from published plays.

Each monologue should have a sense of representation to yourself, connected to your identity.  Both pieces should be learnt off book and MUST not exceed 2 minutes each.

Please also prepare a song from any genre. This will be performed acapella.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR
AUDITION

  • Comfortable attire; please wear clothes that you are free to move in.
  • Note pad and pen or tablet to take any notes you need from the Q and A

SCHEDULE OF THE AUDITION DAY

Part 1

On the day you will be met by current students who will take you on a tour of the building and host a Q & A before you take part in a group workshop led by the Course Leader Ameer Choudrie.

Part 2

Candidates will be given an individual slot to perform their monologues in front of the panel, followed by a short informal interview.

  • At this point an alternative course could be suggested.
