For the first audition, students should prepare 2 contrasting monologues of their own choice.

  • One classical
  • One modern post 1880

(Please do not choose a piece by Berkoff, John Godber, Willy Russell or Jim Cartwright).

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR
AUDITION

  • Comfortable attire; please wear clothes that you are free to move in.
  • A copy of the two monologues.

SCHEDULE OF THE AUDITION DAY

Part 1

Candidates will be called in individually to perform their monologues to the audition pane. Followed by a short interview where the panel may ask the candidate any questions they may have.

Part 2

Candidates will be called in all together for a workshop, after which there will be a Q and A session with the Head of the course.
